So I definitely meant to put a blog post up last weekend but things happened, chaos ensued, life got in the way, blah, blah and also blah.

Anyway, my life: Last weekend, I took myself up to the Big Smoke to firstly) laugh a lot at John Mulaney's stand up in Soho at the Soho Theatre and secondly) catch up with my girl, Goone. J-Mula did not disappoint, he came on stage looking his cute, overgrown 12 year old self and was charming, charismatic and sarcastic to boot. If you don't know who he is (which means you may not know who Stefon is, you heathen!) then click right HERE and immerse yourself in everything this comedian is about.

The next morning, Goone and I caught the tube to Belsize Park for a spot of breakfast and G introduced me to GAIL'S. Dayum is all I can say. G went for the pancakes and I treated myself to their version of the BLT, it was indescribable. My one complaint? Not big enough to fulfil my never-diminishing appetite. That's not really a complaint, I'm just greedy.

G spent the rest of the afternoon in Gail's to work on a presentation and I ventured into the world of public transport. Now, I'm all about trains, there's nothing more I enjoy than a train journey with the landscape rushing past your window and the quiet rumbling accompanying a good book however buses are a different kettle of fish altogether. I won't go into explicit detail about the foul and abusive tirade I witnessed but I can confirm it's the one thing I'm not looking forward to when I make the big move up to the capital city in January. I got off the bus at Battersea park and spent the rest of the day lazing with a pal in the summer heat, listening to the traffic bustle whilst surrounded by beautiful green and endless cricket games.

What's the craic in your life? Have you had a more delicious breafast than the one I had?

I'm about winter nights with choral music and scented candles burning, turning to the last page of your book and then re-reading it a few more times to truly immerse yourself in the experience, striped tops with necklaces suited to your personality, the sound of rain hammering against the window as you're lying in bed with your hands wrapped around a cup of tea, stretching out every little bit of your body and enjoying the satisfactory pain, chilly summer nights in a borrowed jumper and shorts laughing with pals, tactical tequila shots at the bar with your girl who tells you you're a bad influence and then offers to buy the second round. I'm about so much more but that gives you a feel for now.

Thanks for reading,

you're all so welcome here,

I'm looking forward to learning what you're about.
